This sort of drum was and is still used by shamans. It creates a soft and pleasant sound that varies in pitch and resonances depending on the place where it is beaten.

Frame height about  8cm, stick  included. Covered with goat skin.

Due to its low weight of 1.5 kg the drum is quite easy to be taken with you and can be played while moving around.
