Didgeridoo Maintenance

  1. Didgeridoos of any type and material should dry inside after playing. Bring the instrument into an upright position to allow for a natural air flow tu build up through the corpus. Bags and packaging should only be used for transport.
  2. Didgeridoos made of wood short not be stored close to heaters, in cars and any other environments with rapidly changing conditions (temperature, humidity, ...).
  3. Didgeridoos made of wood may be protected against rupture due to changes in humidity by inside oiling (line seed oil or other specialised wood oils) or sealing with lacquer, epoxy or similar. This reduces the probability of ruptures, yet does not give a 100% guarantee. See the product description to view how the instrument has been treated.
  4. Fiberglass Didgeridoos are generally insensitive to changes in environmental conditions. They may easily be cleaned with water possibly adding a soft detergent.
